Canon Law 212 calls upon the laity to speak up:

2 - The Christian faithful are free to make known to the pastors of the Church their needs, especially spiritual ones, and their desires.

§3. - According to the knowledge, competence, and prestige which they possess, they have the right and even at times the duty to manifest to the sacred pastors their opinion on matters which pertain to the good of the Church and to make their opinion known to the rest of the Christian faithful, without prejudice to the integrity of faith and morals, with reverence toward their pastors, and attentive to common advantage and the dignity of persons.

LISTENING PROCESS

Three sessions of the Assembly were held: August 4, 11 and 25

Organized by: Christians for the Third Millennium (CTM)

Participants: 20 people

Objectives that were raised in the CTM:

  • Respond to the Pope's call to begin a Synodal process in our Great Homeland
  • Be faithful in the transcript - which is not literal with respect to what was said - to everything discussed

Important to note: All the participants were satisfied and grateful to have been able to listen and intervene in the Assembly.

CONCLUSIONS OBTAINED IN THE FIRST CONSULTATION:

1-1 The concern about poverty in the country and in Latin America emerges clearly and unanimously.

PROCESO DE ESCUCHA

Se llevaron a cabo tres sesiones de la Asamblea: 4, 11 y 25 de agosto

Organizadas por: Cristianos para el Tercer Milenio (CTM)

Participantes: 20 personas

Objetivos que se plantearon en el CTM:

  • Responder al llamado del Papa para comenzar un proceso Sinodal en nuestra Patria Grande
  • Ser fieles en la transcripción - que no es literal con respecto a lo dicho – a todo lo conversado

Importante destacar: Todos los participantes se mostraron conformes y agradecidos de haber podido escuchar e intervenir en la Asamblea.

CONCLUSIONES OBTENIDAS EN LA PRIMERA CONSULTA:

1-1 Surge con claridad y unanimidad la preocupación por la pobreza en el país y en Latinoamérica.
